Where: Silver Lake Park, Maple Falls, WA

Registration:
Registration opens at 8 a.m. in the field area of the park; parking is available in the field, on the road and across the street from the park.  The field will be open the entire day for cars entering and leaving. (Mountain bikes with no forward pointing bar ends are permitted)

Cost:
Registration will be day-of only. Opens at 8am.
$10 if registered for RIDE 542
$5- Youth & Women
$15 day-of (if not registered)

Race Schedule:
Cross C: 9 a.m. - 30 minutes
Cross B: 10 a.m. - 40 minutes
Cross A: 11 a.m. - 50 minutes
Cross Youth: 12 p.m.

Directions:

Take Highway 542 east towards Mt. Baker for 26 miles, turn left at Maple Falls onto Silver Lake Road. Follow Silver Lake Road for 3.5 miles to Silver Lake Park. Event will be in the big field on the west side of the road near the Forestry Center.


In conjunction with the Mt. Baker Hill Climb, Norka Recreation will be hosting a cyclocross race at Silver Lake State Park. This promises to be an nice early kick-off to a great new 'cross season!

This event will be intentionally low key so people can conserve some energy for the Hill Climb the next day, and who's fully ready to race 'cross in early September any ways? Expect a 'clinic'-style atmosphere where we hope to welcome newcomers to the sport.
