Both the 7 mile Short Course and the 22 mile Long Course will take place strickly on Silver Lake Road. It will take the form of a Time-Trial. Riders will depart at 30-second and 1-minute intervals. We will post a list of start times 1/2 hour prior to the start.
In this Time Trial race, the riders are not permitted to draft (ride closely behind or to the side) other riders. It's just you against the clock with the shortest time winning.
You need a desire to challenge yourself and compete for your best time. Unlike Criteriums and other Road Races, you don't need to worry about high speed turns, riding in a pack nor trying to pace yourself with the others.
